We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to join our team. This role requires a strong leader with excellent management skills who can effectively direct and hold teams accountable, ensuring project delivery meets both technical and strategic objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering delivery team, ensuring scope, time, cost, and project outcomes are effectively managed.
  • Ensure the technical quality of all designs, drawings, and documentation, maintaining compliance with client specifications and engineering standards.
  • Organize and participate in design reviews, ensuring that designs meet project requirements.
  • Maintain the technical capability of the team, identifying and addressing any shortfalls.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including CDM, COSHH, and other relevant legislation.
  • Report project risks when identified and ensure the confidentiality and security of client data.
  • Required Experience:
  • Proven experience working in fast-paced project environments.
  • Familiarity with NEC3 contracts and project control procedures.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate and inspire teams.
  • Experience managing the full design lifecycle, including all associated documentation and deliverables.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Educated to HNC/HND or degree level in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer and a member of an appropriate engineering institute.
